Brief Bio
Dr. David Quiroz is an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering at Ohio University. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, where he also served as a graduate intern at the National Laboratory of the Rockies. His research focuses on assessing the sustainability of emerging technologies through process modeling, techno economic analysis, and life cycle assessment. His work spans a range of systems including biofuels, mineral recovery, desalination, and waste to energy processes, all aimed at advancing a more sustainable energy and resource future.
